How do I submit my work to be featured in "A Weekly Dose of Khaos?"
If you are looking to have your work published on our site to share your story with our community, then you can join one of our Creation Is Khaos workshops for priority pick during the publishing period.
If you're unable to join the workshop, you can complete this form to send in your submission.
What happens at your workshops + open mic events?
We start our evening off with grounding and intentional breath work. Our host shares a poem of choice to inspire the writers in the room. Afterwards, three prompts are shared for writers to choose from, followed by 20-25 minutes of independent writing time with live music from our houseband.
After the writing time is up, we transition into our open mic show where our stage is open for all kinds of art - poetry, music, comedy, dance, etc.
How can I be featured at a House of Khaos showcase?
You can email us at info@houseofkhaos.us with 2-3 headshots, an artist bio, and a statement indicating what craft you'd like to feature in.
Our multidisciplinary showcases feature 5 unique artists for the night - a visual artist, a poet, a musician, a dancer, and a filmmaker. If selected, our team will reach out to confirm further details.
